Working with Joshna Chinappa has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional journey. She is a true icon of Indian sport, a trailblazer who has consistently redefined excellence in squash for over two decades. From becoming the first Indian to win the British Junior Open Under 19 title to clinching 18 Senior National titles, Joshna’s record is unmatched in Indian squash history. She reached a career high world ranking of number 10 and made the nation proud by winning gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in women’s doubles and the Asian Individual Championship in 2017. Beyond her medals and milestones, what truly stands out is her dedication. Every training phase is meticulously planned, from nutrition and recovery to match day performance. Together, we have focused on fueling her body for endurance, optimizing her recovery windows, and sustaining peak performance through personalized nutrition science. Joshna’s commitment, humility, and relentless drive to keep improving, even after years at the top, are what make her an inspiration. She represents the perfect balance of discipline, intelligence, and heart, a true ambassador of Indian sport.
