Steamed Dhokla

Fermented, steamed snack rich in probiotics. Light on the gut and perfect for tea-time or travel.

Food Info:

  • Calories per Serving: ~100 kcal

  • Servings: 4

  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika or red chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Salt to taste


Instructions:

  • Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  • Prepare Sweet Potatoes:

  • Wash and peel sweet potatoes.

  • Cut into even-sized fries or wedges.


Season the Fries:

In a bowl, toss sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, black pepper, and salt.


Bake:

Spread the fries in a single layer on the baking tray.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.


Serve:

Remove from oven and serve hot, optionally with a yogurt dip.
