- Yoga, Gut Health & Parenting Lessons with Mickey Mehta
Explore the deeper side of health as Dr Mickey Mehta discusses yoga, nervous system regulation, parenting, and lifestyle habits. 9 Jan 2026 Everything You Know About health Is WRONG ft Dr Mickey Mehta Everything You Know About health Is WRONG ft Dr Mickey Mehta What if there is something more powerful than strength training for your health? What if being strict with your children makes them emotionally weaker adults? In this conversation, Dr Mickey Mehta questions the habits we never stop to question. In this thought-provoking conversation, Mickey Mehta shares why real health goes far beyond workouts, discipline, and willpower. He explains why yoga is not just physical practice but a way of calming the mind, regulating the nervous system, and learning how to live with awareness. We explore why excessive focus on strength training can disconnect us from our bodies, why parents don’t need to be strict to raise resilient children, and how empathy and compassion play a direct role in mental and physical well-being. Mickey also connects everyday habits : digestion, bowel movements, posture, breath, presence, even how men should sit and pee to stress, gut health, and long-term wellness. This episode is about slowing down in a world addicted to speed, being present in a culture obsessed with productivity, and developing an open mind instead of rigid rules. If you’re tired of surface-level health advice and want to understand the deeper connection between the mind, body, and lifestyle, this conversation will make you pause and reflect. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah proposed a social media ban for children under 16 in the state Budget 2025 — and as a father and nutritionist, I had to share my honest reaction. ⚠️ *Disclaimer:* This is NOT a news video. The Karnataka government has proposed this ban — it has not been officially passed or implemented yet. This video is purely my personal reaction and opinion as a father, a nutritionist, and someone who works with children's health every single day. I support the intent behind this proposal wholeheartedly. As a dad, I see it firsthand. Phones, tablets, Reels, Shorts, our kids are hooked. And the science backs up what we're all feeling but not saying loud enough. In this video, I break down: Why this Karnataka proposal is a step in the right direction What dopamine and short-form content are doing to your child's developing brain The real data on how social media affects reading, memory, sleep, and physical health Why zero notifications = deeper focus (and what science says about it) Why I — someone who built his career on social media — still fully support this ban for under-16s . 💬 What do YOU think about Karnataka's proposal?
