METHI THEPLA WITH HOMEMADE DAHI HEALTHY TWIST

Fibre + iron from whole wheat and methi, plus extra protein from homemade dahi.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1⁄2 cup chopped methi leaves

  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds (optional)

  • 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp grated ginger

  • Salt, water for kneading

  • 1 tbsp ghee (or olive oil)

  • Homemade dahi to serve

Method

  • Mix ingredients into a soft dough

  • Roll out thin

  • Cook on the tawa with ghee

  • Serve with homemade dahi
